Refunds

If it is not right, we refund you

Email hello@hourslikethese.com with your order reference and we will refund you. You do not have to explain yourself, fill anything in, or argue with anybody.

We do ask, because we would genuinely like to know what went wrong and there are more packs coming. But the refund does not depend on your answer.

Ask within 30 days of buying, which is the same period your download link lasts. After that, email us anyway. If you have a fair reason we will almost certainly still say yes.

How it works

  1. Email hello@hourslikethese.com. Your order reference is at the bottom of your confirmation email, and "I bought a pack on Tuesday" also works if you cannot find it.
  2. We refund the full amount to the card you paid with. There is nothing for you to do at your end.
  3. It usually shows on your statement in five to ten working days. That timing is your bank's, not ours.

We turn the download link off when we refund. We cannot take back a file you have already saved, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. We would just ask you to delete it.

What this does not affect

This is a promise we are making, not a legal minimum, and it takes nothing away from your rights.

If the pack is faulty, will not open, or is not what the page said it was, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to have it put right or to get your money back, and no policy of ours can change that. Tell us and we will fix it or refund you, same as above but faster.

Buying digital content that downloads immediately means giving up the usual 14-day right to change your mind. You are asked to confirm that at checkout, and the Terms page explains it. Our refund promise exists partly because that is a real thing to give up for a file you have not seen yet.

Chargebacks

If something has gone wrong, please email us before you ask your bank to reverse the payment. We will almost always have sorted it out before the bank has finished reading your form, and a chargeback against a very small business costs a great deal more than the £5.
